AccèsBanque Madagascar is a commercial bank founded in 2006 by AccessHolding, in partnership with a group of internationally recognized investors. Its mission is to provide micro, small and medium entrepreneurs and their families with diversified financial services tailored to their needs.

It opened its first branch in February 2007 in the capital, Antananarivo. The bank began expanding beyond the capital in 2009, and the first rural branch was created in 2010. Today, with the opening of its latest branches in the SAVA region, notably in Andapa and Antalaha, AccèsBanque Madagascar has a network of 43 branches across the island.

Since its creation, AccèsBanque Madagascar has continuously developed its capabilities to meet the needs of entrepreneurs and the population at large. Partnerships have been forged, diversified products and services adapted to each customer segment have been developed, and new distribution channels have been introduced to better serve people, especially in remote areas.

In this drive for innovation and proximity, AccèsBanque Madagascar has in recent years strengthened its network of ATMs (GAB) in several major cities across Madagascar. These machines allow customers to deposit and withdraw cash easily while facilitating everyday access to banking services. AccèsBanque Madagascar was thus the first bank in Madagascar to deploy ATMs that accept cash deposits, once again affirming its commitment to innovation and financial accessibility.

The bank has also accelerated the digitalization of its services with the Accesa mobile app, which lets customers access their banking services directly from their phone, and MyABM, its web application offering simple and convenient remote banking. Through the ongoing development of its physical network, ATMs and digital solutions, AccèsBanque Madagascar continues its commitment to making financial services ever more accessible, practical and tailored to customers’ needs across the country.
